Environment
Defining Futures starts with establishing a comforting, secure, and inviting atmosphere for every youth under our care by providing a supportive environment that is safe, stable, nurturing and non-judgmental.
Our cluster of homes consists of smaller, welcoming, and dedicated properties with 1, 2, or 3 bedrooms supported by a skilled and nurturing staff team available 24/7.
Support
Defining Futures couples strong, positive, and meaningful relationships with a support team that listens, understands, and accepts a young person’s past, are the foundation blocks to build and define a successful future.
We work with practitioners who have a good knowledge of trauma and can be empathic and compassionate and enjoy supporting young people living with complex needs. Provide effective assessments and interventions in conjunction with effective inter-agency relationships.
Guidance
Create thoughtful, considered and informed approaches to the development and implementation of therapeutic support programmes to meet individual needs.
Using targeted, relevant, and engaging key work sessions that are tailored to and guided by the young person’s interests, Defining Futures are here to support young people in being the best version of themselves, a version that they can be proud of.
